Bell vortex helmet w/ video review

The new Bell Vortex is every bit the helmet you'd expect of the Star's little brother. Developed in Bell's state-of-the-art Santa Cruz, Calif. design center, the Vortex borrows heavily from the Star, using its Velocity Flow Ventilation with FlowAdjust for amazing ventilation and temperature control, as well as ClickRelease the reigning world champ in shield ease-of-use. The lightweight polycarbonate shell is molded into a stable, wind cutting shape, and comfort is in no short supply with contoured cheek pads and a plush removable comfort liner. Finish it off with a noise reducing wind collar and integrated speaker pockets and you have a complete package at a killer price.

Right now there are many opportunities out there on these helmet, you can view our complete list of Bell Vortex Helmets Here on our Website.

Bell is using contoured cheek pads (by means of stacked foam, not hand cut)
Also has integrated speaker pockets for audio speakers

The Vortex is using the Bell Stars Chin Vent.

Also using the Star's eye brow vent's as well.

Using dual rear vents in the back helps keep the air moving accross the top of your head to keep you cool.

New for 2010 Bell is using a Magnafusion Magnetic Strap; no more broken clips for the excess strap.

To help keep the wind-noise down on the Vortex, Bell is using a large neck roll to keep air from coming up from under the helmet.

These helmets are Snell 2010 and DOT. Also you can see when the helmet was made right on the back of the helmet; 12/2009.
