On Thursday afternoon at the Jerez Circuit, officials from Dorna Sports, IRTA and FIM gathered to commemorate their 300th Grand Prix organized together.
The Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar, the 2011 MotoGP season opener, marked the 300th event organised jointly by rights holder Dorna Sports SL, the International Racing Team Association and the F�d�ration Internationale de Motocyclisme.
This milestone was celebrated on Thursday afternoon in Jerez, on the eve of the first day of practice of the Gran Premio bwin de Espa�a, at the new FIM Hospitality in the MotoGP Paddock.
Officials from Dorna Sports, IRTA and FIM unveiled a commemorative plaque to celebrate their 300th race together, the first having been the Grand Prix of Japan held on March 29th 1992 in Suzuka.
