Chareyre bros at the lead

Nothing and nobody could prevent the strong Chareyre duo from ruling the Grand Prix of Andorra?s time practice. Today Superiders got to the Pas de la Casa circuit looking forward the head of the timesheets but only 4 of them were fast enough. Adrien Chareyre was the author of the amazing time of 00:50.828 and tomorrow he will battle it out for the Superpole with his younger brother Thomas, Mauno Hermunen and Thierry Van Den Bosch.

The SuperMoto World Championship already reached its mid-season point, and this time the fantastic location of the 2011 campaign is the Pas de la Casa circuit, a demanding and fast circuit that lies more than 2.000 meters up the Pyrenees.

The Grand Prix of Andorra first day of action saw a stunning Adrien Chareyre seeking the best result ever in order to be the only protagonist of this sunny day and he definitely succeeded. The French rider of the Fast Wheels ASD Team topped the two free practice sessions and finally rode his Aprilia till the head of the timesheets courtesy of his best time of 00:50.828.

The French challenger was chased by his brother, Thomas, who pushed hard for the whole session but despite he was in great shape he had to feel satisfied with the second best time. The TM Factory racing rider will take advantage of every second to stay in front of today?s third classified and current series leader, Husqvarna Factory Finnish Mauno Hermunen, and of course he will try to recover the leadership.

PMR H20 Thierry Van Den Bosch looks determined to improve the fourth fastest time he set in the time practice and tomorrow he will be chased by HM Honda Racing Ivan Lazzarini, the French of the Luc 1 Team Sylvain Bidart and Matt Winstanley of the SHR Team. The three were respectively fifth, sixth and seventh.

The eighth position was grasped by the only KTM 747 Motorsport rider attending the GP, Alexis Marie Luce, as team mate Davide Gozzini injured his right wrist tendon at the Busca appointment with the Italian Championship two weeks ago.

The top ten was rounded off by TDS Faor Slovenian rider Uros Nastran and the Suzuki Valenti Lux Performance Christian Ravaglia.
