The final proved a fitting end to an entertaining season. Dabill discovered the grit that has been missing from his riding all season, while Fajardo and Raga were both on top form. However, the real star was Bou, who was in a playful mood and made even the biggest steps look incredibly easy. A rare mistake in the dual lane race, which saw him get thrown over his handlebars, was the only blemish on an otherwise impeccable performance. Bou deserved his victory in Milan and that has been the case at every round this season, the 2011 SPEA FIM X-Trial World Champion was the best rider by a measurable margin throughout the campaign.�
