Mexico Day Trip (500+ miles)

Took a ride with some really old friends from high school and a few others about 90 miles into Mexico last weekend. It was one of the most enjoyable trips ever. The weather was perfect, scenery and culture was outstanding, the food was incredible and the company was awesome! They all ride Harley's but I can't hold that against them since we had SUCH a great time together.

All the scenery pics were taken at speed from the back or the bike so I'm sorry 'bout the quality... We NEVER stopped just for pics because the riding was just too great to interrupt.

This photo doesn't even begin to describe just how big this Jesus really is...

In front of La Fonda Hotel/Restaurant. It was such an awesome place! They treated us like royalty and served excellent food. I had the crab stuffed shrimp that was wrapped in bacon; it was simply divine!

Inside we had the best tables on the cliff terrace with and incredible view or the beach and ocean below (I could kick myself for not taking more pics but we were just having too much fun!)

On the way back we stopped off at Rosarito Beach to shop a little and because it was carnival week there was a parade through the middle of town. As we arrived we were directed to fall in right behind the last set of hot rods and horses. We were waving and the kids were throwing confetti on us as we laughed our way down the street.

Altogether we did just over 500 miles and I got to say one of the best rides I've ever taken. Can't wait to go back!
