Poole-based technology sponsor of the Samsung Crescent Racing British Superbike team, Blue Chip, is hosting this very popular event on Tuesday 6th September, bringing racing superstars to the Quay for the fourth consecutive year. There will also be an opportunity to win tickets to a forthcoming race.
Blue Chip Managing Director, Richard Cook, said: "Both riders bring their experiences in MotoGP, AMA Superbike, World Superbike and Superstock to the BSB circuits. Hopkins has shown fine form, achieving a historical double early in the season at Oulton Park by becoming the first American to stand on a BSB podium (second place in the first race), and then to win a BSB Championship race (first position in the second race*).
"Kirkham joined the Samsung Crescent racing team after winning the 2010 Metzeler National Superstock1000 Championship last year on a self-funded bike. It is great to be able to offer the fans - and riders - the opportunity to mingle at the regionally acclaimed Poole Quay bike night."
Up to 2,000 motorbike riders from across the south attend the free-of-charge bike nights organised by Poole Tourism at Poole Quay every Tuesday from the first Tuesday in April until the end of September, appreciated by motorcyclists and spectators for their organisation and relaxed atmosphere. The Samsung Crescent Suzuki event hosted by Blue Chip promises to be a highlight yet again in 2011.
